Foundation (Prep) enrolments

The Department of Education (DE) has a statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.

The timeline advises families when and how to enroll their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Beverley Hills Primary School.

Children must turn 5 by 30 April in the year they commence school.

 

The following supporting documentation must be provided :

• a copy of the student’s birth certificate (if born in Australia)
• a passport (if the student is born overseas) must be provided for sighting and copying
• a copy of the student visa (if a visa applies)
• an Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Immunisation Register. Please note that no other immunisation records can be accepted.

 

Beverley Hills Primary School welcomes students from within our neighbourhood. Enrolments are processed in the following priority order:

• students for whom Beverley Hills is the designated neighbourhood school.

After allowing for students for whom the school is the designated neighbourhood school, where there are sufficient places at the school for other students, the priority is as follows:

• students with a sibling at the same permanent address who are attending the school at the same time, in order of proximity to the school.

 

This year our school is using an online system for new enrolments to Victorian government schools called VicStudents.

VicStudents is available for students who are enrolling in a Victorian Government School for the first time. This includes Foundation (Prep) enrolments for 2025.

 

VicStudents has been assessed by the Department of Education to a high degree of security in line with the Victorian Protective Data Security Standards and is compliant with ISO 27001, the leading international standard for information security.

Visit https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ to create an account and complete the online application form. Please ensure that all documents required are attached to the application

 

School Tours

We are conducting tours for families who live within our school zone and have a child commencing Prep in 2025. You can check your address at http://www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au to confirm that your address is in the school zone. Proof of address documents will be required before an enrolment form can be issued.
