Parent Volunteers

At Beverley Hills Primary School (BHPS) we welcome Parent Volunteers to work in the classroom or assist with school events, such as fund raising activities, sport carnivals and the swimming program.

All parents who are volunteering at the school are required to have a valid ‘Working with Children Check’ card and sign the school’s Code of Conduct. This is in line with the school’s Child Safe Policy.

In summary, all volunteers must:

• sign in at the school office each time they visit the school
• obtain a Visitors Badge from our office staff each time they visit school
• have a valid ‘Working with Children Check’
• have signed the school’s Code of Conduct.

If you need to obtain a Volunteer’s ‘Working with Children Check’ you can apply for one at www.workingwithchildrencheck.vic.gov.au For volunteers, there isn’t a charge.
